Buy black with your groceries too!
You can buy black for your fruits, veggies, eggs, and other groceries in Houston. Yes, about 3 hours away from Killeen, lives Robert Thomas living on another side of fear!
He opened the first black owned supermarket, District Market Green Grocer! He has over 30 African American vendors on his shelves and is providing opportunities and fresh fruits and groceries to the African American community. On this side of fear, he opted to invest in what has not been done in his area nutritionally nor financially. The two areas that hurt the African American population the most in my opinion.
He decided his nightclub space would benefit more as a grocery store because he saw the need for healthy food and business partnerships in the community rather than a social experience, a little after the deadly Covid19 pandemic .
Let us help him give HEB and Kroger some competition and turn this “pandemic into a ban-demic” in the prophetic words of our brothers the Migos. Mama!
While you in Houston, stop by at 3337 Cypress Creek pkwy, 77068, open Tuesday- Saturday 10-9pm.
